DESIGN
Reflective Surfaces: Be immersed, while standing out. Mazda's design experts spent two years handcrafting an exterior for the CX-50 that reflects its environment in a very considered way. Intentionally designed for a natural setting, the reflective curves are meant to capture and amplify the beauty that surrounds it.
Color Palette: Every design decision for the CX-50 was ultimately born of a reverence for nature. Zircon Sand Metallic, an available new exterior color, summons notions of venturing down rustic primitive trails. Whereas the vehicle's refined interior is available in Terracotta leather, a color inspired by the hue of earthen clay.
A Powerful Presence: With an intentionally wide stance, low roofline and high ground clearance, the muscular composure of the CX-50 greets you with a sense of resilience for on-and off-road driving.
Panoramic Moonroof: Whether it's cascading moonlight or the green dappled canvas of a forest ceiling, your moments in nature can last longer through the CX-50's available Panoramic Moonroof.
A Beautiful Collaboration of Form and Function: The interior of the CX-50 was created to be a luxurious haven as well as a durable basecamp. It is a cabin designed to be worthy of the magnitude which surrounds it-a perfect space to absorb the profound artistry of nature.
A Natural Connection: Our seats are shaped for a comfortable and relaxed posture, with the driver seat symmetrically balanced with the steering wheel and pedals. Every control is within reach and the instrument panel is intuitively designed around your line of sight, so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
Terracotta: Our newly available Terracotta leather trim was inspired by the rich hues of soil. Warm and inviting, the earthen tones offer a constant connection to the natural world that surrounds you.
Materials Inspired by Outdoor Endeavors: The hard-wearing materials found on various trims took inspiration from technical outdoor gear. The sturdy nylon of climbing backpacks inspired our seat fabric. Our seat stitching reflects the pattern of hiking boot laces. And the grip of a telephoto lens influenced the textures on our center consoles.
Heated Steering Wheel: The versatile comfort of the CX-50 lies in the details. Venture through icy climates with ease, thanks to the thoughtfully crafted available heated steering wheel.
Climate Controlled Leather Seats: The available front and rear heated seats and available front ventilated seats are a comfortable affirmation that every season is beautiful.

Mazda Connected Services: The road less traveled is no place to lose touch. With Mazda Connected Services complimentary for three years, you have access to vital resources like Roadside Assistance, automatic 911 dialing, your vehicle's health status report, remote engine start and more. All available 24/7 through the MyMazda App on your mobile device.
In-Cabin Wi-Fi: Share your adventures with friends and family, access weather forecasts or stream your favorite content with on-board Wi-Fi. Enjoy complimentary in-car Wi-Fi for three months or up to 2 GB.
Automatic 911 Dialing: Despite your best intentions, accidents can happen. Should you become involved in an accident, your CX-50 CUV will automatically dial 911 on your paired phone, to call for help and alert authorities of your location.

High-Strength Roof Rails: The High-Strength Roof Rails are designed to support you and your equipment such as kayaks, bikes and even a pop-up tent. The lowered roof line also helps to access gear or climb into your tent.
Rear Power Liftgate: Open and close the liftgate with ease with the CX-50's programmable Rear Power Liftgate. Customize how high the liftgate rises for easier access, and to always be within reach.
Cargo Space: Deeper than it is wide, the cargo floor of the CX-50 is designed to fit coolers, packs, and gear lengthwise. The liftgate opening is flush with the floor so you can slide heavy items in and out without the strain of hoisting them from below. Additionally, our line of cargo accessories including Cargo Blocks, Liners and Mats make storage even easier.

To enjoy a more intuitive relationship with your surroundings, we created an expansive line up of safety features. These advanced innovations are meant to enhance your awareness of your environment whether you're on a gravel trail or a paved road.
Adaptive Front-Lighting System: Drive confidently through dark winding country roads with our available Adaptive Front Lighting system, designed to help you see around corners at night. As you turn a corner, the LED headlights pivot in the direction of your turn, improve visibility and help you to spot potential hazards ahead.
Active Driving Display: Maintain focus in every driving condition. With the available Active Driving Display, you have access to important information. This feature projects a small display onto the windshield within the driver's line of sight, informing you on speed, following distance and more.
360° View Monitor: Experience greater awareness in every direction with the available 360° View Monitor. Small cameras are integrated around the vehicle to help you see a more complete view of your surroundings via the available 10.25" dashboard-mounted Mazda Connect screen.
i-Activsense® Safety: The Mazda CX-50 comes with an expansive lineup of available i-Activsense® safety features. Traffic Jam Assist, front and rear parking sensors and 360° View Monitor are all included within Mazda CX-50 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus models.
Blind Spot Monitoring/Assist: Standard Blind Spot Monitoring helps detect vehicles in your blind spot and alerts you with a warning light in your side mirrors as well as in the Active Driving Display (when equipped). In addition, our available Blind Spot Assist offers further protection. If you signal a lane change, Blind Spot Assist will provide steering assist to help keep you in your lane when a vehicle is detected in your blind spot.
Lane Departure Warning System And Lane-Keep Assist: The Lane Departure Warning System gives you a combination of audible and visual warnings when it detects that you are about to unintentionally depart from your lane. And with Lane-keep Assist, minor steering corrections are made to help keep your vehicle in its lane.
Available Traffic Jam Assist: Every moment is precious. Even the ones in gridlock. Make them a little easier with available Traffic Jam Assist. It enhances Mazda Radar Cruise Control with low-speed steering assistance at speeds of up to 40 mph.
Front Drive Detection: Smart Brake Support aims to help reduce the severity of collisions by automatically applying the brakes if the system senses a potential collision.
Reverse Drive Detection: Available Smart Brake Support-Rear uses two ultrasonic sensors mounted on the bumper to keep track of obstacles when reversing at low speeds. If there is a risk of collision, the system applies the brakes automatically to minimize damage from a potential impact.

The 2023 CX-50 offers 10 available trim levels: 2.5 S, 2.5 S Select, 2.5 S Preferred, 2.5 S Preferred Plus, 2.5 S Premium, 2.5 S Premium Plus, 2.5 Turbo, 2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition, 2.5 Turbo Premium, and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus.
