The Mazda CX-90 offers three powertrain options, our first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), and two 3.3-liter Inline 6 Turbo powertrain options that come in two variations of differing power. All three vehicles are born from a tireless devotion to enhance and amplify every drive, with every emotion they evoke.

The CX-90 PHEV: The CX-90 Plug-in Hybrid Electric powertrain is designed so that the combustion engine dynamically supports the electric motor for an extended driving range, so you can journey beyond the limits of a solely electric vehicle.

Standard AWD: The Mazda CX-90's rear-biased i-Activ AWD® is designed to respond to changing terrain throughout your drive, delivering power to the right wheels at the right time to help ensure enhanced performance in a wide variety of road conditions.

Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive): With Mi-Drive, drivers can switch between five distinct modes designed to optimize power delivery and responsiveness: Normal, Sport, Off-road, available Towing and EV mode.

Up To 3,500 Pounds of Towing Capacity: The Mazda CX-90 PHEV has a 3,500-pound towing capacity. Available Towing mode helps with vehicle stability allowing you to bring along additional cargo without sacrificing your connection to the road.

 
Kinematic Posture Control: The CX-90's Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) helps minimize vehicle body roll while enhancing cornering stability through dynamic wheel speed monitoring and active braking. The result-improved steering feel without sacrificing comfort.

8-Speed Transmission: Our new 8-speed automatic transmission offers an optimal balance of driving performance and efficiency by providing smooth gear changes and a direct transfer of power from the electric motor and engine.

Charging Capabilities: Experience the benefits of a plug-in electric vehicle with the confidence of a hybrid gas engine. The Mazda CX-90 PHEV can reach up to an 80% charge using a Level 2 AC charger in 1.5 hours.

Road Keep Assist: If your vehicle begins to depart from the road, this available feature can provide alerts and momentary steering assistance to help avoid roadway departures above about 40 mph.

Blind Spot Assist: When changing or deviating from a lane, this available feature can provide alerts and momentary steering assistance to help avoid collisions with adjacent vehicles above about 40 mph.
